I've had my Amazon Kindle for about a year now and just downloaded audible so I can listen to books a few months ago.  With that said, I have been able to catch up and read a whole lot of books.  I believe as a writer the more you read the better you write.  Some of my book reviews of books I've read are on amazon under my pen name Tellmeasecret.  I'm also on goodreads as Dashaker Damover.  Looking forward to reading some of the authors in here books.  Write on, write on

“So all of the crews that were eating off of Rah’hem Bilal’s daily bread were now starving in the streets.”

Rah’hem Bilal is a legend on the streets of Duval County, a God to his city. But what happens when Betrayal, lies and scandals for the crown of the city is on the line and his right hand man Donte’ Vixen plays Judas? Immunity for the Bilal's is running low and the empire is forced to strip Rah’hem Bilal’s throne and his only begotten son Abisha is up for the crown. Abisha create workers in his image and expands the empire larger than anyone ever thought possible. But when the empire becomes a hot commodity everyone wants a piece causing corruption within the empire and things spiral out of control sending Abisha to disappear without a trace. When the empire starts to crumble under Donte’ Vixen's reign scandals begin forcing Abisha to return home to be killed by his own blood brother Adonus. But Abisha stays ten steps ahead, turns up the heat, and returns to the city with a wrath like you have never seen. Be prepared for the Rapture.........

"Flying Planes (The Alliance)" The Novel

Derricks mother told him that the streets of Providence were a dead end, a graveyard for has beens. She told him that the flashing lights would slowly dim, and become dark, and that the joy would fade, and be replaced with pain. She tried to guide him in the right direction, but they never agreed upon much. Having nothing, but a lifeless white rose to remember her day of rest he wish she was present to share one last thought of wisdom.

Now seeing fate unfold he began to realize how wise his mother was. Far from the naive lady everybody in the projects perceived her as. He heard plenty of lies before, and he also heard people speak the truth, but none were truer than the words from his mother.
