I'm the author of 'Corner Stores In The Middle Of The Block'

Poetry Is Alive

Blue's poetry is refreshingly, honest and true to life. He has captured Harlem living completely and not once did you loose street creditability. He has taken the ugliness of the ghetto and brought humor and beauty to the everyday experiences on the streets. There is a new movement that needs to be acknowledged and his words are a big part of that.
Blue is the author of “Corner Stores in the Middle of the Block." And "Don't Beat Your Children Or They'll Turn Out Like Me.” Both are collections of original poetry and short stories and in the spring of 2002, he was published in “Signifying Harlem,” an anthology of poetry.

His talents do not stop there. Blue has appeared in a New York Lottery commercial, BET’s “106 and Park, New York Newsday newspaper,” and the off-off Broadway production of sex is More Than a Three Letter Word.”
