Now that I have been recognised by Seaburn and have a book coming out [with more on the way ] I have a better idea what's in the near [I think] future.

Should be interesting how this all turns out.

As a matter of fact when I'm through with this post I'll crack the Seattle Times book reviewing staff about their policy of review copies. I will not gaurantee they will be flattered or ingratiated by the  portrayals in the book.

I guess it's commonplace for somebody to anticipate not only the release of their book but also the reactions of people to the contents, both for and against. I intentionally push some pretty severe societal buttons in the novel.

I'm an absolute believer that determination often crossing over into outright stubborness, will take a person far. Setbacks [self-induced, in my case] can be used as motivators  to not only show myself but other people [especially the ones, family included, who tried to gas me] that I would accomplish  what I have been saying for years  The other grand decision I've made in life was joining the Air Force from 1981-1985. That experience was a positive influence on my writing ambitions also, and somewhere out there are some brothers who used to hear me typing all the time in the barracks [although I was a jet engine mechanic by day] the entire 3 years plus I was there [Norton Air Force Base San Bernardino, Cal.] Thanks for  e-mail.

It's good to meet you and I agree all the way with your statement about determination and the concept of nothing to something---I'm living outside and wrote a couple of books on my laptop, and nothing has deterred me from the main objective. As things got worse I stayed motivated. Thanks for the invitation.
